Our Services

People with an intellectual disability, autism or other mental health behavioral need should be members of the community. They have a right to be an active member of the community and participate in work, school, church and social outings. At a CareSense Living home, they can live a life that is safe and fulfilling.

Many times, when an adult family members moves into a group home setting, it is the first time that the individual has lived outside the family’s home. That has the potential to create anxiety within the person who is entering a group home situation. For that reason, we integrate the person into the community. We make them feel welcome not only in the home, but the entire community. It’s where they live.

As part of that process,we understand ODP and the waivers and will ensure that the optimum services are matched with each participant. We balance independence with structured, 24/7 care, creating a safe and compassionate place to live. We help your family member manage his or her finances and assist the person in living as self-sufficiently as possible.

To assist in this process, our homes are decorated in a way that brings out a sense of place and home. It’s not a stuffy institution. Rather, it’s a home in the community.

A place where people grow, learn and succeed. We know that’s how we live in our homes, and that’s the way everybody should live.
